Escherlogic provides solutions for environmental measurement of temperature, relative humidity as well as other type of sensors supported by our RF V5.0 wireless platform and secure on-line management system (SeNSoRNET).  We can offer NIST traceability for temperature that can support your most demanding environmental requirements.

RFTX5 RF Sensor Platform

This device is the workhorse of the Escherlogic wireless sensing platform. It requires only a single AA battery to power itself and up to 2 sensors.  If you don’t require traceability, the RFTX5 provides high quality on-board temperature sensing, so there is no need to plug in an external sensor.  It has an exceptional RF range of up to and beyond 1000m in clear space.  When it can not connect with an RFAP2 Access Point, it is capable of logging many 1000′s of data samples.  This allows you to use it for collecting data during shipment.  As soon as an RFAP2 connection is established again the RFTX5 will upload any and all logged data for seamless data continuity.

Insertable Environment Sensors

Escherlogic not only designs and manufactures our own unique line of high performance low energy temperature and temperature/humidity sensors, we also can provide NIST traceable certification for our sensors.

Our standard 1-year certification offers 3 temperature test points:

-20 deg. C

+5 deg. C

+20 deg. C

with a +/- 1.0 deg. C tolerance or and optional +/-0.5 deg. C tolerance.

Sensors can be sent back for re-validation or if you can’t afford to be out of service, simply and easily replaced with new validated sensors. (contact us if you require any customization to our standard validation.)

Tsensor – Temperature Sensors

The Tsensor was designed as a low cost replaceable and traceable temperature sensor.  When it’s time to revalidate, you can return them for revalidation or just plug in new Tsensors so your environmental monitoring is never down.  Cast in epoxy these sensors can withstand your toughest conditions.

VIsensor – Voltage and Current Sensors

The VIsensor was specifically designed to measure 0-24VDC and 0-24mADC making it ideal to interface with most any instrument or sensor you need to integrate.  Its very small size allows it to be placed most anywhere.  Even inside the terminal wiring space of the device you are connecting it to.  With 24 bits of resolution will provide high quality detail for any signal you measure.

With simple electrical devices such as transformers and rectifiers, it can be used to measure large AC voltages.   Here is an example from SeNSoRNET of a 24hr plot of the single-phase main line voltage  feed to our lab.

RFAP2 – PoE/AC/DC Powered RF to Network Access Point

The RFAP2 acts as an RF data collection point for any nearby RFTX5 devices.  It can provide a web-front to view and manage all basic control for your sensors.  Its also a flexible, secure, no-configuration way to collect and route sensor data to SeNSoRNET.

Viewer – To provide a site-based display for your data

The Viewer is a hardened display featuring a powder coated steel enclosure with a *Lexan ™ window so it can withstand some rough environments.  It is designed to mount on a standard 4×4 electrical box making installation simple.  It is powered exclusively with PoE so you only need a single network cable.  This device needs NO configuration.  It simply gets its standard network settings (IP/mask/gateway) from your DHCP server and connects automatically to SeNSoRNET where you can control and customize its content.
